Common FAQ

What can I expect on my first visit?

Trend Physio is designed to treat you as an individual. On your first appointment, a full assessment of your condition will take place. Our physiotherapist will perform a full physical assessment that will include tests such as strength, range of motion, orthopedic testing, balance and restrictions. In addition, our physiotherapist will review all relevant medical reports that have been given to them by you. Our therapist will then set realistic and achievable goals along with a full treatment plan.

What should I wear to my physiotherapy appointment?

You should dress comfortably and wear clothes that expose the area appropriately for our physiotherapist to assess you. Also, loose-fitting clothes are ideal as they allow you to move freely when performing stretches or exercises. If you need to change your clothing, Trend Physio also has a number of bathrooms and private rooms available.

How long are my physiotherapy sessions?

At Trend Physio, your first appointment will involve a detailed assessment by the health practitioner followed by a treatment session that may be up to 60 minutes long. Subsequent sessions can range from 30 - 45 minutes, depending on your conditions.
